Renault Extra Van Project (soon to be turbo'd)

Introduction

well, heres my official Renault Extra Van project thread. ive stuck it in 'Lets talk Fiat' as i thought it could sit along side my uno turbo project thread as i know many of you have enjoyed reading it so i thought ud like a simlar thread to read through even tho its not a fiat! if a mod feels it should be deleted can they let me know, cheers.

anyway,i purchased the van as i needed a run about and i had many areas i wanted to cover. i wanted something fun, turbo'd, a van, a renault 5 gt turbo, and a sleeper all in one. so the Renault extra Van was the perfect solution!!

so here is it, sorry its dark, but its the best i have at the moment! basicly the Extra van is a renault 5 with a box on the back lol :D

had a dig about under my bed and i found the old dump valve and fitting kit off my uno turbo, so put it to one side ready to fit to the gt turbo lump

ahhh hehe cool. i thought about the ford escort van, but then thought its been done to death and ive always wanted a renault 5 gt turbo. its been done before but only a handful of times so its still very different from the norm!

Love it already, gona be one of those, ffs, someones modded an old renault van, why!?!? Then the person saying this will ask why, then they'll have a closer look, realise its pretty tidy for a van with the front ur putting on, then they wont get to see much of the rear end for very long, as it'll be gone :D Just a dot in the distance
Jordan

delete it then please. cheers

Dunc

No dont

This is one project that I would love to see from start to finish :D

I joined the forum quite late into your UT restoration and to be honest spent a while trying to catch up  where as I have finally caught the beginning of your new project so will be able to keep up this time :p

This is going to be a beast of a car/van and I for one want to follow its progression :worship:

Ah I love my Renaults, my old 5GTT was sold on eBay last week for £920 with no MOT or TAX, guy who bought it drove up from Torquay to London to collect and thought he got a bargain, going to fix a few things and sell it for £2500 in a months time, my mate was gutted when he told him, he would have accepted £500 for it before Christmas as he has went to the dark side and bought a Suzuki GSXR or something bike, only way to get about London really.

Parts are so easy to get Dunc, even new 5GTT bumpers are available for about £60 from either eurocarparts or germanswedish&french :)

My mate gave away a vary rare Skeete bumper as well with the car

PS don't fit a bleed valve to it, they went out of tuning fashion about 15years ago when folk got smart to how to tune a car!
