Its got 16" Zender Alloys, Red Momo Leather interior with the Wood trim and the luvly High lift boot spoiler :D.
Usual Alfa probs :D

Got a few mates with Alfa GTV's, they love 'em and spend loads 'fixing' them...

Love the new GT, pure class (y)

i like it, dont like the red leather tho, has to be black or cream ;) and that spoiler, really has spoiled the car imo, way to ott

and wood really isnt my thing either :p

i wouldnt buy one then if i were you, you might not like it!

I Like it, though it i were you id get the cam belt done, unless theres a recepit from a previous owner in your hand - wouldnt take anyones word for it! rather esxpensive if it goes wrong

Nice motor though, bet its quick

Yeah it is quick even with a shafted variator . Yeah the cambelts where done at 60k its now on 90k so yeah I know I need them done pronto and ill get the variator at the same time (in the new year).

And yeah the leather is just teh sex but its a matter of taste all i'll say is the pics don't do it justice :p.

Cool car, subtly modded by it's previous owner by the looks of things.

The variator is a very common problem and you're right to get the belts and tensioner done at the same time - most recommend every 36,000 miles.

The TS is a great engine - sounds superb when pushed.

I thought that was the standard look of this model and how it came form the factory i.e. spoiler, leather, steering wheel etc

Nah there are subtle mods but they are all availible factory addon's.

Alloys are 16" Zender's which where a optional upgrade.

The Spoiler is an Alfa spoiler which was part of the sports pack that comes with the leather too.

The previous owner also colour coded the wing mirrors and the plastic on the bumpers which is usually black. He also changed the grill on the bonnet to one with chrome strips.

Yeah I love it. Its so fun to drive and very smooth and the engine note sends a tingle down my spine above 4000rpm all the way to the rev limiter :D.

Nice, well done.

My HGT has a dodgy variator too, Looks like you are planning on replacing yours at the same time as me. What effect is it having on your car?

TBH, i don't like silver but the 156 looks nice in just about every colour.

Nothing really except the fuel economy is down, the diesel noise for 10secs while freezing cold and its not as fast as its supposed to be until its been driven for about 30mins. The variator on the twinspark engine advances the inlet timing above 4000rpm which is suppose to kick you into the back of your seat as it surges from 4000rpm to the rev limiter :). I can't wait to get it fixed .
