Bye bye GT, hello GT86

Introduction

After 8 years, my wife said goodbye to her much loved Alfa GT V6.

Like most Alfas, it's been a tempestuous relationship of many peaks & many troughs!

It's been replaced with a brand new & fully loaded Toyota GT86, a car we've both loved since driving it at launch in 2012.

Anyway, from this:-

Happy days :D
Great choice!

So far, it's not been :(

Had ABS issues & Toyota UK make FCA look organised. Been off the road in the garage more than it's been with my wife. The Yaris / Auris loan car is wearing thin!

If it's not fixed by tomorrow (they've had it for two weeks whilst we've been away), it'll be rejected.

Pleased to report that a replacement ABS pump/module has fully sorted the car & we're now loving it.

Simply fantastic to drive.

Proof that you can have reliability issues / component failures on even the most reliable of marques!

As long as its fixed now and there are no further issues I bet you'll have forgotten it happened within 2 years.
