Alfa 155 Q4

Introduction

My 155 Q4

Owned since 2009 its pretty much standard. Was originally a narrowbody but was converted to a widebody by the previous owner.

Spec list:
-Eibach springs
-Bilstein dampers
-Uprated pads
-Speedlines off a later car
-Toyo Proxes
-HKS electronic boost controller set to 1 bar across rev range
-Larger bore and re routed intake piping
-Factory Intercooler waterspray system coaxed into life

Currently waiting to have the water hoses replaced with silicone (I have the parts but its a b**tard so I'm putting it off) and have slack removed from the center diff.

Hopefully back on the road spring '14

They are -- or can be -- real "Q" cars. (Almost) Integrales in drag.

One of my favourite things about this car is that no one knows what its capable of, people who try their luck are made to look stupid regularly. It is a fair bit heavier than a 'grale but it still shifts and it was A LOT cheaper than the lancia

Strange that they spent money on "Alfa" cam covers, though!

Yep, it is odd. The plug cover isn't on in that picture but it says '16v turbo' or something similar. Even more strangely they did three different Alfa covers, and the inlet manifold is different to all of the other 16vt cars. On the note of inlet manifolds if anyone knows the whereabouts of a lancia kappa turbo one I'll take their arm off!!

A remap would massively benefit the car, they're quite conservatively mapped from the factory and there's a guy in Bristol who can get some lovely torque curves from standard motors
