My New (in a sense) V8!

Introduction

Hi guys!
I have recently bought myself a 1985 Rover SD1 Vitesse!
I bought it off a guy who intended to restore it but never had the time, so now its my turn! :D
I aim to make it my every day car when I turn 21 so I can cover it on Classic Car Insurance!
Its a Beaut! (y)
I remember these back in the day (just).

Family friend had one with electric rear windows - very rare back then in comparison to the cars I was used to. Referred to our friends one as 'the magic car' for years :p :)

Hahaaha! Its amazing what we take for granted nowa days!
Hopefully when its eventually done, i can bring it to a FF meet and let you guys see it (bring back some memories) :)

the 3.9's were always better for reliability (upgraded AFM and ecu system), perfomance and well sounded nice lol
Go for it lol You wont be dissappointed!
The 3.5 was always underpowered anyway but the torque was amazing!

also..... how much fuel pressure does it have driving? My tr8 stays at 32psi and it try's to stall so im thinking of buying a adjustable FPR

Always liked these cars - although never driven one! Would have liked to seen the project car finished but I can understand why you wanted a complete one, glad you removed those horrible headlight covers! Hope you enjoy it
