My new toy :)

Introduction

Right, I recently ran into very very bad times and had to make money quick, so sold my highly modified sei for parts. It was absolutly heart wrenching (n) :(

Now the capital has freed up though, I've gone and bought a new toy.

It's my first bike and I can't wait to pass my test :slayer:

Honda CBR600RR with ABS on '10 plate with 683 miles.

It's mint!! :worship:

Just waiting for my direct access course, should be done by end of Jan....and buying all the kit of course :)

Cheers,

KriTip
AWESOME ;)

Ive always wanted a bike, but Ive never been able to bring my self round to saving up enough money to be able to afford one aswell as my car :s

Absolutely love Hondas. Used to have a "farm bike" little C90 thing, it went like hot snot and was light as anything! Never broke down either, even after being bombed into a 1 foot deep puddle at 50!

My best advice for new bikers is to take as many advanced riding courses as possible to get used to how far you can push your bike safely (and legaly of corse ;) )

Cheers
Tom

New bikers get into trouble when they try to steer in the direction they want to go. All bikes (including pedal bikes) actually steer the "wrong" way. To go right you push the right bar until you have enough lean angle then push the left to come out of the bend.

Sports bikes turn simply by thinking so you don't realise that's what really goes on until you get a panic situation. Lots of training helps fix the issue. The IAM guys seem to be the best doing close to the Police Roadcraft methods.
