i think it looks mint. i dont care what anyone else thinks tbh

you need front fogs for the bumper, and the original red rear lights, and clean up the bodywork like that crack on the rear bumper, then its a nice cossieish rep.

personally i think it will have the 105PS engine, so 0-60 is still 9.2secs (not bad tbh).

i'd like to get a white RS2000 4x4 and stick a cossie bodykit on it. then you have cossie style and almost cossie performance with none of the cossie costs or hassle and no need for silly things like a turbo.

Thats not my cup of tea personally but gotta say it looks alot better than alot of cossie rep's i have seen. Get it looking more like a standard cossie is the way i would go..

You say its your project car... So what are your plans for it?? Seems a bit silly to me to spend money on a car that in the end still won't be as cool, fast, or handle as well as the car its imitating.. Spend money on getting the UnoT tiptop would be money better spent IMO.

its not a big project, well i hope so, its just a mini project, tidy up, cambelt, brakes, do any bushes/brake pipes/welding it needs and then cover all the arches and under in underseal to just make it generally tidier, and give it a mini service obviously.

the uno is a big project! think im gonna start with doing a engine compression check and then decide if its worth the money.

Yeah maybe it was 9.2 when the engine in top notch condition and it didnt have fibreglss bolted on everywhere, smaller wheels... etc....

I think these replicas are shocking. Its one of those cars that if it goes past you, laughter follows.

Saying that though £450? Thats still a good price considering it is driveable and when its not you could sell as spares and get double that. I know that chavs will still pay top dollar for one of those classic spoilers.

its back :slayer::p

so i sold it for £700 a while ago.

the new owner has fitted new front bumper, mondeo alloy wheels, half leather interior, induction kit, new centre exhaust and backbox, new water pump, put a years mot on it (10 months left now), new rear lights, new morrette headlights (£300 ;)) and other bits and bobs.

then the clutch went, i just bought it back for £280 :yum:

got to say, it does look better now-

maybe expensive but needs doing!! get some standard rear lights and the morrettes painted white.. end of the day though its not a cossie so why bother?

Why o why do you not just keep one car, stop wasting time on all the others and get a car together & finished, the amount of time you seem to spend you could have finished some good projects by now but you always seem to get bored or something and buy something else before things get finished at all

i do keep one car, iv got bravo hgt, spent 4k on it now.

i always finish them so i make money on them, im not going to spend money getting spacers fitted cos it just isnt going to add money to what the car is worth.

never heard of anyone making money on modded cars, there sure must be some stupid people round your neck of the woods..
A bravo HGT?? i never seen that, and not mentioned in your sig. Don't get me wrong i'm not having a go just simply amazed how fast you get through cars, compared to most people i think i've had a few cars but you probably had more before you got your licence than i have owned lol

but i dont mod the cars.

i simply replace broken headgaskets, replace broken alternators, tidy bodywork and sell, if the car has some chavvy mods- ie saxo has chrome lexus lights, i will replace them with non chav rear lights.

i did make a thread on it, but it got removed cos i used photobucket cos FF hosting is crap, so cant be arsed to make another.
