haven't touched the engine bay yet, will give it a good cleanup today (y)

Standard spec:

Electric windows with winders on the back.
Electric mirrors.
Electric Hood.
Recaro Seats.

Mods:

4" backbox.
Dump valve.
Phase 1 Turbo.
CD player with Amp and Sub.
Turbo Systems Superchip.
Rsturbo Caliper and Discs.

Stuff do be done:

deffinately need to get rid of them amber indicators, maybe change the rear lights to afterburner style rear lights or just tint them in gloss black.

not sure if i should get some different alloys but i quite like the rs turbo ones one.

EDIT: THE WHEELS LOOK TERRIBLE ON THE PICS, IT'S JUST BRAKE DUST LOL!
Re: The RS Turbo

and you need a 4" Backbox because? lol

Never been a big fan of the cab's, more into an original RS, white with the RS logo's plastered alover it, saw one t'other day, very nice cars.

Re: The RS Turbo

Jeeess, looks fairly clean, I'd keep the amber indicators as it adds to the retro feel and are essential for resale.

Instead of blindly guessing BHP do a search, without me looking the S1 RS's were around 130 bhp so this won't be much more I reckon.

Re: The RS Turbo

Looks very tasty dude :yum:

What's it like to drive?

I've always had a little bit of a thing for the old skool RS' but insurance is still a little bit too high at the moment for me to justify one on my own back.

How does your dad feel about never getting to see the car? lol

thanks, it's amazing to drive i love it, a world of difference to the punto, its lowered so it sticks to the road very well and feels very tight, it surprised me actually i thought it would be all loose and rattely(y)

and yeh lol my dads drove the car once:eek:

Re: The RS Turbo

I'm not being picky, but from experience I very much doubt it's running more than 170bhp at best- especially with standard internals.

How's it coping temperature-wise? RS's have a habit of running hot, especially once you fit a front-mount intercooler on (if you go this far).;)

Oh, if it is running anything more than standard, you'll want to think about uprating the brakes- they're shocking!

Re: The RS Turbo

yeh thanks for that, not too concerned about the power, its plenty fast enough for me and a very nice car for an 18 year old to be driving round in, my phone is like the RS turbo hotline everyone wanting a ride in it lol.

Re: The RS Turbo

How did you afford to insure the thing at 18 :O if you dont mind me asking, i love RS turbos there the must have car of the early 90's for me.
