Hey people,
Need some advise from those in the know. My sister bought a P reg Fiat Marea TD (2.4(5?) from the local car auctions not long ago and although it look a really nice motor when I took it for a test drive it felt sluggish, tired and I couldnt hear the turbo whistle like I can on me mothers Pug and the old fella's Tempra. Im assuming the turbo is goosed or atleast its not producing any boost what so ever [:0] question is IF the turbo is buggered is their likely to be any long term engine damage caused by running the motor without the turbo working correctly? AND, what kinda dough is she looking at to get a re-con or exchange unit?
