My Marea 19. td is coming up on 100,000 miles soon.
I have recently had the timing belt changed.
The car itself smokes when reved hard and ther are varous lights which have com on on the dash
The air bag ligh came on and stayed on even having been cleared by the garage 2 mths previously. the Seatbelt light flashes depending on the location of the harness in relation to seating position and the exclaimation light also seem effected by this.

What should be attended to at this type of milage.

Keith

as for the seat belt light if you look under the drivers seat there is a wire disconect the conecter and the light will never come on, i done this couz i dont wear a seat belt ever.

my marea weekend 1.9 td100 on a r reg has done 130k and still ok, dont worry about smoke when rev hard i have seen brand new diesel cars smoke when pushed hard.

i do not have big boobs as i am a man, i just hate wearing them, if i crash there is a higher risk of me being killed but who cares i dont anyway.

as for the air bag light i think i'm right in saying that the car thinks it has a passenger air bag and checks to see if it is ok, but couz it dont have one is thinks its broken and put the light on the dash. you can get a resister thats plugs into the wiring thats already there for the passenger air bag to fool the car in thinking that the not exsisting passenger air bag is ok and the light wont come on.
