any 1 in here know how much its going to cost me to get my glow plugs changed on my marea weekend 1.9 td?

Can you confirm TD and not JTD?

hi its a 1.9td td, thanks for the reply. had a mechanic out this morning and he tryed starting the car and said he thinks its the glow plugs but cant be sure with out puting in ton the machine. White smoke was pouring out the exhaust while trying to start the car. the car is at work at the moment just joined up with the rac and gonig to call them out tomo just wonderd roughly how much its going to cost me. thanks alan

I used to change them myself on the tipo td - can't remember if the marea had its glow plugs at the front or at the rear. If at the rear it could still be a DIY job - but a couple of them are super difficult to reach. Couple hours labour and about £15-£20 per glow plug for the good stuff.
