General front/rear speaker volume control on standard radio

Hi,

I've got a 2001 fiat marea weekend 100elx with a standard fiat radio. for some reason the speakers in the back of the car are louder than those in the front, which causes endless complaints from the kids. As far as I can tell, the manual gives me the option to change the volume, but when trying to follow the instructions I dont appear to have a button with FAD on it.

Am I being stupid? does anyone know what I need to press to sort this little problem out?

Mye ELx is the same as most of the bass comes from the much larger speakers in the rear due to them being higher output and better than the small ones at the front.

You press the AUD button several times, FAD will apear on the display.
