Does anybody know where I can get a wiring diagram for the Marea? Specifically, I am interested in the electrics surrounding the heater fan and dashboard control gear (i.e. potentiometers etc). The diagram in the Porter manual lacks sufficient detail.

Bought a workshop manual on a CD from ebay for only a couple of pounds. Is brilliant.

hello everyone..i am not sure even if I replied the way you supposed to but i am totally new to this..i have marea weekend and would like to install rear speakers..doeas anyone have a drawing of some kind that would help me find the cables at the back..thank you

if your marea doesnt have rear speakers fitted then you wont have the speaker wires either, so you'll need to fit some wires from your headunit to the rear.

if the wires are there already they would be tucked behind the carpet where the speakers are usually fitted.

Hi Guys,

sorry for flooding the forum with questions... i just got a Marea last month and I am sorting it out.

Rear Speakers.
My Marea SEDAN doesn't have rear speakers. On the head unit there are cables for the rear speakers. I Looked on the rear shelf but couldn't find the other end on these cables.

Did any Marea come with factory rear speakers ?
If so, where were they located ?

Thanks,

Jacob

I have an 1.2 16V which as far as I know was only sold to Italy and Greece.
It is a low-spec version. No ABS, No rear Power Windows, No Rear Speakers.... but with A/C.

I thought the speakers were on the rear parcel shelf, but don't see holes for them, or dangling wires...

In MK2 they should come preinstalled even if the speakers are not there. On MK1 they are not.

Brava has them behind the interior trim right behind the rear seats, I installed spearkers on my SX, but the original wires were crap and broke after half a year so I reran new wires from the headunit.
