got a fiat 105 jtd weekend 1.9 sx and after 20 min run won,t start engine turns over red injector light comes on +it will not start , after 1 hour or so it starts ok and from cold every time ?can any body please help .

Try havin' the battery checked, my Cinqu' did that spent 40£ on a battery problem solved

Had a similar problem. I Live in South of Spain so problem slightly worse, it takes longer to cool down. Tonight my power to starter has gone. If I change the battery does it affect my coded keys on imoblisiser

Had a problem like this in a petrol car, turned out to need a new fuel pump.

The fuel is evaporting in the fuel rail so its takes that little bit longer to start

Can anybody help?i have a 1999 weekend sx 105 jtd from new been a great car, but now after say a 15 mile or so run if you stop the engine wait about 10 mins it will turn over well but will not start, the red injector warning light comes on and no way will it start.
I,ve tryed both ing keys no luck, if i come back after say couple hours or over night it starts first time every time and every time when cold.

Dealer will be able to monitor the non-start situations via examiner parameters.Could be CPS but no point in just guessing.

keys will not need anything doing after disconecting and re connecting battery

Since the above i started to have the engine cut out when temp got to normal, towed to Fiat dealer @ Shrewsury_ they found fly wheel sensor breaking down with heat, cost= £120

CPS sensor then....sorted now?

my old bravo did this = faulty crank sensor

yes when you press temp button and outside temp around 10 c or lower but not everytime say 1 in 10 , any idea ?,
