Bit of a strange one, there has recently appeared a problem with my ABS, which is under any braking conditions there is a slight ABS application i.e. dipping or juddering of the pedal, this is not every time though. Today the ABS warning light came on and the problem stopped altogether which i presume to be the system isolating itself when it saw it had a problem. Can anyone shed any light on this for me and pinpoint it to a particular part etc.

Probably a wheel speed sensor,unless your handy with a multimeter your best option is diagnostic at dealer.

Are these the sensors bolted through the hub picking up the teeth on the driveshaft, if so theres a handy scrap 20 valve in the local breakers yard which might get robbed.

Thats them.
Check for damage and make sure the toothed rotor is not clogged up.

Just had an hour cleaning up the sensors and unblocking all the teeth on the toothed rotor and after a test drive all is well again, fantastic
