When it comes to the standard sound system in a marea, simply start from scratch and replace all of it, I have and it sounds fantastic.
I've got 17cm Kenwood speakers in the Fr doors, (I had to cut away some of the metal to fit) Kenwood tweeters in the dash with crossovers.
JVC DVD/CD Headunit up front.
Then in the boot I have 8" Pioneer Coaxial's in my well prepared boot shelf and a 10" sub with the kenwood amp hidden in the space where the spare tyre once lived.
All I have left to do is make a new mdf floor to replace the original Fiat Boot floor then carpet.
