urgently wanted wiper stalk unit for my marea weekend, the year 2000 1.8
16 valve if anybody has or knows of one for sale I would be most interested I have tried several online car breakers with no success my local fiat main dealer was less than helpful said they could not order me one in, think if I can't sort it I may well end up scrapping the car seems a shame but if I can't source one I may not have any other option hoping somebody out there can help.

sorry I don't have a switch assembly but an ebay search for "fiat marea stalk" in car parts with the "used" button ticked comes up with 40 hits e.g.

When mine failed I took the old one apart it it was dirt and corrosion. I don't recommend disassembly, buy if all else fails get a can of quality switch cleaner e.g. Servisol or electrolube, take the stalks off and liberally spray cleaner in any holes or gaps in the casing and work all the switches. No certainity but it may bring it back to life for a while.

To remove the airbag.. disconnect battery the night before. Wear eye protection too.
