Hello guys,

Kind of hoping that someone here can help, got a problem on an R, Marea 2.0 ELX.

Driving into work yesterday morning and just as I was about to pull up the rev needle flicked to zero, then back to where it should have been and then down to zero and stopped. "Uh-oh" I thought!!

So, came to drive home last night and all the instruments on the dash simply don't work anymore. Speedo, rev counter, mileometer, fuel gauge. The indicator and fuel light still work.

Now, I don't know if this is related, but there was a significant amount of water in the passenger footwell the other day. I couldn't work out where it was coming from, however, when I turned right more water dribbled down from behind the glovebox somewhere.

Any ideas or suggestions????

Help!!

The water I can help with, the electrics have me stumped. The gutters block with leaves and stuff and it leads to water finding it's way into the passenger footwell. If you go outside the car and look down the back of the plastic cover at the base of the windscreen you'll see what I mean. There are two gutters, one on each side and you need to unblock them. Use something that won't scratch the paint, a plastic covered coathanger for example.

I think there is a guide on www.fiatboo.co.uk

hi i was wondering how you got on as mine has just done the excact same thing if you did get it sorted could you e-mail me with the [email protected] i would be much appreciated if you could help

Cant say if it is related, but my glow plug light never came on, so i took the dash pod put, wiggle a few wires and put it back in. Its been fine since (4 months ago).

I would spend an hour trying that, as is could be just a loose connection

cheers

Have you checked the fuse - there is a 10a one for all the dashboard clocks in the main fusebox (RHS side drivers side) - its on the bottom row 2nd one from left I think.
