Hi all
my mate in work is having some real probs with his marea (W reg - TD) the car starts straight away when cold but as soon as he starts driving it and the engine temp starts getting warm the car cuts out and then wont start again until the temp has dropped. The temp needle on the dash doesnt go about half way before it cuts out. He took the car to Fiat who put it on a diagnostic check and said that it could be a sensor (not sure what it was called - any way it didnt work) Fiat then put it back on the diagnostic machine and said that it was some sensor that fits on to (or near - cant remember which) the flywheel the parts been on order for 2 weeks and still hasn;t arrived yet. Just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem or knows if it could be this sensor that is on order or if it could be something else? I did a search through the forums and found that someone else on here from the netherlands has had the same problem and that he cured his by changing the rev sensor. Could this be right or could this be the delayed part which I cant remember the name of that goes near the flywheel.
cheers all any help would be much appreciated
