General BREAKING 1 x 20v VIS and 1 x 'normal' 20v HLX estates

I am currently breaking 2 marea HLX weekend estates.
One is the 20v VIS engine, and the other is the 'normal' 20v.
Virtually ALL parts are available.
I am also breaking a 20vt coupe, and I have parts form a 16vt coupe available as well.

What are the differences between the VIS and Normal engines.

I'm thinking of polishing the inlet manifold plenum but need the car so would you have one available?

vis model has 155bhp as standard, throttle is operated electronically(no cable) but main thing is use of 'plastic bits' for engine(cam carriers and cover) and Variable Inlet System...the inlet manifold can be lenghtend, to increased/decrease air speed(using secondary chambers and actuators).
Load of crap and more to go wrong, all for 8bhp?

Rear brakes? Disc? How much for both sides with calipers, (disc and pad if ok) and handbrake cables? Maybe rear hub too since you have to dismantle to get caliper holder plate.

Oh yes..

...I would be interested in the other pair of rear calipers. Got a strange handbrake fault on mine where I can't get the handbrake to work hard enough to pass the MOT.

Are any of the 20valve engines got the ecu on top of the engine. as I had to send my ecu off to be tested but still it dont work. Can you email me at [email protected] with a price for the ecu and imobaliser and keys etc off the car please. yours Mark
