To all that know me I'm a big fan of the fiat marea
Have recently had to scrap my saloon because of safety as the subframe mounts were so rotten it was ripped off

So went in search of another 20v Marea and I keep my 147 20v happy
Looked for a long time initially searching for a saloon 20v, came along a tidy
155 20v Weekend
44,000miles
Very clean underneath
No rot anywhere
Recent timing kit.


Future plans :

Expansion tank change
Clutch
Front suspension overhaul
Rear suspension overhaul
Wheels refurb
Front end respray

Then some fun maybe

Recently painted the skirts and rear apron s

And received a Marea Turbo Grille from Brasil

Err....Isn't that same grill as on facelift brava (no round fiat logo)?

I got brava one on mine and it looks exactly the same.

Basically same but marea turbo ones have two lugs that hold them in place where as the Brava ones don't

I have 3, one in middle and two near the edges holding it in place.

The ones on the edges usually detach as they used wrong/too little glue at the factory, so I got epoxy holding mine together.

Add factory rear spoiler to the list.

Would love a factory spoiler but they are ultra rare and already have one on my 147 20v
Will have to get a n alternative

i've never seen a factory spoiler, so i ask in ignorance if this is the spoiler you're talking about? 90 euros is a bit pricy for sure.

Update:

Decided I'm going for a turbo conversion so today I started to gather some stuff for the prep

Took me almost two weeks but finished one of the Brembo calipers

Quick update ........

Timing belt snapped last night on m25 and left me at side of the motor way so .........

Turbo conversion will be happening quicker that first thought

Work carried out today to remove old cylinder head to see if N/A lump could be saved

Marea came out for last time yesterday
Next time it come out it will be running about 330bhp and a six speed box

Update

Had the chassis legs primered ready to add some colour
My seam welded subframe came back ready in primer ready for a top coat of electric blue
Brrmbo calipers also came back from the refurbishers

And been gathering parts

1 brand new Fiat coupe 22mm anti roll bar
1 complete set of Powerflex black series bushes
2 new wishbones

Also managed to get my hands on a set of genuine coupe engine bay decals
