Hi,

I am wanting to fit a remote lockig kit to my 2000 1.6 marea. Can someone confirm that the Fiat remote central door locking kit Part number: 46001190 fits the marea 100sx. I have seen the question asked in the forum but no clear indication if it fits the Marea. If it does fit can someone tell me where the relay is in the car.

Sorry for the delay in answering this :eek:

I cannot find a definate answer to this. It would be best to ring a local dealer and ask the question.

There is sometimes a relay or space for the relay in the panel inside the glove compartment. It depends on the model. If its not there give me a shout and i'll have another think about it.

I am currently breaking a marea that has remote central locking.

Dave, i think you are on about the punto locking kit, if so this will not fit a marea as there is no relay in the glovebox there is a control unit under the backseat.i know this because i have tried to fit one myself.

wimmys ones are for bravo/a ask him how you fit them. marea owners join boo so i thought they the same
 
yeh i thought they were as well but the bravo is different.if there is a way of doing it i would like to know, cheers

Who is wimmy? Are you referring to the M20 bravo locking kits? Because I'm after one but they are reaaaaalllllyyyy expensive online from shops and ebay have non atm so If you have a kit for sale.....anyone?.....anyone?
 
yes the M20 kit, which apparently only fits Punto Mk1, Bravo, Brava, Barchetta, Palio, Seicento and Mulipla Mk1 models.

by the way its nearly 2 years since this thread has had any activity.
 
My appologies, I didn't think to look at the date!! Do you know where I can get the M20 kit from? Do you use it yourself, is it any good? ta
