Hello, last year my heater blower had a habit of going on then off when activated, then working ok. It finally gave up the ghost in October. All the other switches work ok (temperature / vents). Any ideas what might be up with it or the cause? its a 1998 HLX w/air-con & the Auto blower setting.

UPDATE: having a nose around this evening I found these two wires not attached to anything, look like they should be though! one is blue/red the other is brown. Any idea what they should be connected up to? could this be the source of the issue?

Electric air recirculation flap?
If it does not work, thats the plug/wires for it. I remember it being brown/blue when I fixed mine, not 100% sure.

HLX has electric speed controller, but I suspect wiring fault as someone has been trying to "fix" it before.

i got the same annoying fault on my 2001 jtd 110 w/ender but thanks god its still working for me but i suspect its only a matter of time..

Having a quick look as a search on google Andy, it seems the connections in the control pack break down causing the problem. I'm going to source one 2nd hand and see if this rectifies the problem. (fingers crossed)
