Anyone put a roof rack on a Weekend estate ? What did you get & how did it fit the existing roof rails ?

A mate at work has a weekend with a rack and bike kit. I'll ask him next time I see him.

I carry my daughters bike and that entailed........... 1 pair of roof bars at around £50 and a bike carrying kit at around £60..... ouch....

so I would make sure that you really need one :bang: :yuck:

I don't need the bike kit, so £50 for roof bars wouldn't be too bad. Where did you get them from - I bet Fiat bars are a lot more than that!

If you keep an eye on ebay there is an ebay shop selling roof bars for Mareas for about £39 + Postage. I can't remember the sellers name at the moment but if you search for Fiat roof bars he will prob appear as he does them for a number of different models.

prelude has the right idea. My mate got his with the car, would have been £90.
Bike clamps between £15 to £60 depending on what you want.
