Hi guys, iv just fitted a new stereo to my 1996 marea which had its problems but got it sorted apart from the sound,when the ignition is switched off and on again the sound comes on really loud even if i turn it down then switch ignition off and on again it comes on the same level loud ???? It holds all the stations and info of everything else apart from the sound,has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution as iv run out of ideas .

Stereo may have a setting somewhere for default volume. What kind is it?

Its only a cheap one its called car only bought it as it plays mp3 my ipod usb sticks and i can plug my phone into it and play music of my phone,its not bad everything else is working fine,there is a reset button behind the face which iv also tried but the sound still comes on at level 19 every time its switch off and on.When iv set the bass treble fader i also set the volume to 5 but still comes back on 19 ?????

If it's holding radios stations then I'd check the manual for the headunit for a default volume setting then.
