hi all. the backlight on my digital clock (the one that diplays the tripometer, etc.) has stopped lighting when i flick the headlights on and is generally very dim. Anyone know a remedy to this problem, or experienced it themselves?

Sounds like the bulb has blown. Bulbs are available from Fiat who should be able to identify the correct one, they come complete with a plastic holder and cost a couple of pounds.
You have to remove the instrument panel to fit them but that is not too difficult.
