Thank you johnson...I know were I am now[/QUOT

Do you see that little hand on the right hand side of your post thats the thankyou thing, dont know if you get a blue peter badge if you get so many mind but just thought Id let you know.
Urgent!!!!!
I have got the new wheels and taking them to be fitted this morning..but noticed there is like 2 bleed nipples on each wheel..any clues what I do please?

ah the center bore?
The Mareas is 58.1mm
The pcd is 4x98 which is the distance between the bolts diagonally.
If your only problem is the center bore and you really like the wheels you can maybe get then turned out to fit.
Do you know what fitment the wheels you have bought are?

Yes they are 98...Do I need longer studs!!

Thank you

If you mean to compensate for the center bore of the wheels being too small to properly seat the wheels on the hub? No that would be extremely dangerous, the bolts are only meant to hold the wheels to the hub not support the weight of the car.

If you mean just in general for fitting alloys then the easy way to tell is if push a bolt through the stud hole on the alloy and see how much comes out the other end. Though too much can be as big a problem as too little.

The wheels are being skimmed now to 58.1 mm as advised, just the tyre fitter said you might need longer studs.
I have not got a scooby whats going on,as said they are 4 stud wheels with 2 guides on each wheel to help you put the tyres on with, these will be removed to put the alloys on,they stick out from the hub.

Yeah you might need studs you might not. It's difficult to help with that sort of stuff across a forum. I know I've had 2 different sets of alloys on my Marea not including the original factory alloys. one set needed longer studs one didn't.
