In my last topic I mentioned that my AC Pump is not connected as the bearing has gone (it was like this when I got the car). Kwik-Fit who spotted this said a new pump would cost me around £700-£800.

Can someone tell me roughly how much a second hand pump may cost, I know I will need to get someone to fit it, but if I need my main belt changing I am wondering if it would pay to get the pump done at the same time have everything working again.

Don't buy a secondhand pump that is disconnected from the high pressure system, and is laying on the shelf for some time.
Air entering the pump will content moisture an even a small amount of it will damage the pump.
