Hi All,

Could someone please help me, i have read other threads on this but i cannot seem to find an answer to my problem.

In the little screen where the mileage display is i get the error code 34, however my '99' Marea 1.6sx has got manual mirrors (not electric) and niether have got the little 'nipple' on to show where the sensor is, when i press the button with the temp on it i just get the ERROR CL.

my question's is,
1, did Fiat put the sensor in any other location,
2/ do manual mirrors have this sensor in them (which side uk model)
3/ is the little screen used for the outside temp?

anyone please help me as it is driving me mad..:bang:

I think all UK spec mareas had A/C and need the sensor. The SX Weekend that was in the family did as well as the 1.8ELX Weekend that is still giving good service here. If you dont have A/C then maybe its an Irish car, or possibly someone has swapped the mirrors in the past and lost this feature.

1) Don't think so, I am sure it is only on the mirror.

2) Yes. My Marea has manual mirrors and the sensor is on the drivers side one at the bottom.

3) Yes. That is what the sensor tells you
