im having a problem with my fiat marea 1.9td 100 the following lights on the dashboard (heater plugs) (fiat code) (injectors) (abs) all stay on when the key is not in the ignition, ive also noticed when i press my brake pedal the ligtht, and i seem not be getting any fuel up to the pump if anyone can help it will be much appreciated

you may have a problem with the switched ignition supply to the cluster, or a supply or earth problem somewhere, as it looks like the cluster is getting power when everything else is off. have you checked all the fuses, and cables around the battery and fuse box under the bonnet ?.
Also, no fuel to the pump, is there a fuel primer pump near the filter. Are you getting any fuel at the filter ?. air leak or blocked intake in the tank maybe ?. there is no electric pump on the TD100, the injector pump sucks fuel from tank.

hi stylers i shoud have probaly off said this in the first place

i have put a new engine in the car and the reason i was getting no fuel was because the chip underneath the fuel injection pump (lucas ft09) was not talking to the ecu, so i have now changed this to my chip that was on the car before and now i am getting fuel at every injector(y) but the glow plugs dont seem to work unless i heat them manually using a direct feed to the battery, also when we was fitting the engine my brother in law decided to cut the wires of the fuel cut off solenoid so this is not working so i have to stall to stop the engine, i have ordered a new one though, i was told if the fuel cut of solenoid was not connected then the glowplug preheat control unit would not work as they are all connected in a circuit how true this is i dont know if you have any ideas i would appreciate
thanks again dan
