I was given a pair of REAR doors from an Marea HLX weekend with electric windows from another member (Robin, thanks mate).
Can I fit these to my marea and will the windows work.

Is the wiring loom on the ELX and HLX the same, is the wiring in place so I can just put the doors on and work electric windows or is the loom missing on the ELX version.

I know that the connector in the B post for my Marea only has pins for the central locking, but is the loom present and can I just connect up the pins and get it working ??

Do not want to completely rewire the car just to get them working, I can happily live with manual rear windows if I must.

My car is a 2000 Marea 155 Weekend ELX, donor doors from Marea 147 Weekend HLX.

If the pins are not in the connector, then the wiring will not be there. No manufacturer would leave terminated or un-terminated wires hanging inside the body.

Looking at the Marea wiring diagram, there seems to be a lot of extra wiring and an extra ECU for the rear electric windows. The front electric window ECU may also be different for cars equiped with front and rear electric windows.

I was wanting to do that myself but I thought there would be complications. Would it be possible to connect them up sort of independantly or somit like that.

You might be able to use the live from the central locking, drawback is the window switches would always be live regardless of ignition.

I want the windows to fully functionoing as if they were original equip tho'.
I'll have to take the trim of the B pillar and look and see if their is any loom there for lecy windows, if its there then it should just be a case of attaching pins and putting them in the relevant hole in the connector block.

I doubt it will be that easy tho , so might just stick with manual windows.

Theres a big plug you unscrew where the loom goes from car to door you should be able to see what pins are in there compared to the other door you have .

I've checked , there's only 4 pins, there's a few more on the doors i got with leccy windows.
I amassuming that the wiring is present behind the pillar moulding, just not used?

It would still be possible to do even if wiring is not there, just prefer it to be the same as the OEM Fiats.
