Hello Everybody,

I need some information. So, there is a temperature meter ( sending unit ,part number :7763719 ) between the air filter and the turbo.
What is it ? What happened if this meter will be wrong ??

Hi

Is it a black plastic tube with a wire plugging in one side? And if you peek inside does it have a little wire loop?

If so it is an air mass meter and controls something to do with your turbo.
If it's broke then you will experience a serious loss of power.

A diagnostic workshop will tell you for definite... in Manchester there's a place that only charges a meager £30 for a diagnostic test...

You should be able to get a new air mass meter for around the £100 mark

Hello!

So, this is not an air mass meter. The air mass meter is only in the JTD engine! I have simple TD100 engine.
So, I do not understand, because if is not an air mass meter , then what it is? It is only ( I think ) ~ £15 . So, What happened when this unit will be wrong?
