Hello all,

I have a problem with my dashboard. The odometer is just showing lines instead of digits. Using the excellent advice on this forum I have removed the dash and changed the bulbs but the odometer is still goosed!

I can get a second hand one from a Fiat Marea weekend 1.9TD from the same year as mine (T registered) for £40. Will this work fine on my 2.0 20v model? (also a Fiat Marea Weekend)

In addition to this, where is the mileage stored? Will the ECU automaticlly display the correct mileage on a different dashboard or will I need Fiat to sort it out for me?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Rob

Overpriced and no its not going to work. A diesel has a different rev range to a petrol. Get one from a 2.0 20v. I would say the mileage is stored in the speedo, not the ECU. But a good ODB reader can change the mileage.

if its any help i have a dash from a 1.8 petrol if you find out if it works you can have it for £15 plus postage or you can collect if you are local to wisbech in cambridgeshire

I'd love to know if it works. I've just bought a marea 2.0 20V and mine has the same problem.

Does anybody know if this could be service indicators?
