ah I see, mine fit just about perfect with standard springs.
I would think about lowering it but it's used as a van half the time and I
could foresee problems with a full load of amps and speakers.

ps, just got back from croft circuit as a vip guest with the VXR team.
those vectras are freckin awesome, they take a standard 2.0 16v and with no turbo get 300BHP out of it. They start with a production model and spend £150,000 on each car to get it to race standard (about half of that is on tuning!!!)

Way off topic but I'm getting to something,,,where are the fiats???
The alfas were representing italian cars,, but they were slow ass compared to the vectras and seat leons. somebody should run a team of 20v mareas!:slayer:

given the chocie between a turbocharger and supercharger, there is no choice, its the supercharger every time. lag free forced induction can never be a bad thing :slayer:

Ok, I got a lot done today, First job was to sort out the mess of an addapter

Once that was sorted I could bolt the charger up for the last time, we then ran the car to make sure the belt was in line and didn't slip (the car sounds like a wailing banchee )



As you can see the car is going back together now, All I have to do now is fit the fmic and plumb it all in, which will have to wait till next saturday,
when i will get all my samco hoses.
Only another weekend before fastfest, so the pressurs on now

where have you located the throttle body?
i am having trouble finding space fot it lol
what setup have you got?
im running airfilter, throttle, charger, intercooler and inlet but im using a different charger im using the m62 with the clutch just waiting for it now lol

how have you fastened it cos ive still got to have the brackets fabricated to hold about 50bhp
does the m45 run less?
what belt have you used? i was looking at a second auxillary but it wasnt long enough

i took off the aircon and am using that belt
im running airfilter, maf, charger, fmic, inlet

Ohhh yes, should be going on the rollers for a re=map in the next 2 wheeks

hate to be the one to tell you but you cant remap the 147 ecu, your going to need someone like celtic tuning to create a custom chip for you.

so is she alot faster?

iqon or icon do a piggy back chip wich will let you map it, i am taking mine to noble motorsport in chesterfield (the guys who tune the NOBLE ENGINES) when its done, i had some right problems when i started research as everybody said the same "it cant be re-mapped" then a couple of tuning specialists said they use a piggy back , it was either that or save for a custom ecu etc and that would be defeating the whole point of this exercise lol hope that helps mate

mike evans motorsport up here in shrewsbury have already discussed the pigiback chip, i tend not to discuss what i intend to do untill i know all the facts, i'm still not sure about this bit yet, might look at marea turbo ecu
