Earlier this week, my Mareas heater started to intermittently blow warm air when the temp control was set to low.

This morning it will flow nothing but warm air whether set to low or high (infact, the air feels slightly warmer when set to low?)

This is regardless of whether the fan is set to 0, auto, 1, 2, etc or the flow direction altered. The air con currently needs re-gassing.

A quick forum search hasn't shed much light but any advice would be most welcome.

Hi mate,

Sounds like the mixer flap has become disconnected. Either from the rear of the heater controll nob or at the flap itslef.

Its back to cold air this morning so perhaps the mixer flap could be loose?

Thanks very much for pointing me in that direction.

my alfa has the same problem, it comes and goes. its not uncommon on almost all 90s fiat/alfa models. you can grease the flap and remove all dust to get it moving correctly again.
