General Fuel light

Can anyone help!!!!!!
I have an X reg 105 TD. The red light that looks like a fuel injector comes on, accompanied by power loss. Usually after accelerating at 70mph ish on motorway. It goes out usually after a short time. Any suggestions?

Sorry I must have missed this post

The indication usually means a disturbance in the fuel/air system. It can usually be ignored if it only occurs occasionally. If you are also getting a power loss then first hit would be a fuel injector additive, like wynns or forte.

If this does not clear the fault get back to us. I'll keep a look out for you.
