The bonnet will fit but the bumper wont as the marea wings and bumper are wider, the only bravo bumper that will fit on your marea is from an HGT no other bravo.
HTH
Many thanks............now I just need to source a bumper and bonnet for my Hlx. Radiator is leaking as well so need to check if that is holed or whether the pipework is the culprit.
Yes its is the the part that has the lock where the bonnet catches i think there are 2 14mm bolts on each side on the wings and then another one on each side by the bottom of each headlight. takes about 10 minutes to replace
Another question.........I have the poly whatsit lights on the marea and on one side all the glass has been smashed following the crash.
The unit itself is ok but I was wondering whether it is possible to just replace the actual glass cover only - I am aware that the entire units are quite expensive.
No its not possible to replace only the glass you have to replace the whole unit, i too am in the same situation whereby i need just the glass. the complete units arent to expensive, you can get them at a scrappy for about £20 a side
I got underneath the car on friday to have a more detailed look at the damage.
I tell you want these Mareas' are rather solid! The hefty bit I have bent is the Radiator mount on the front corner. To get the car back on the road I (only!) need to replace:
Bonnet
Radiator
Bumper
Headlight
Slam Panel
Wing
All of this should come to well under £200 - not bad considering that an Insurance company would have written the car off if it was claim on this car.
