Hi need to check cross compatibility with Marea 155 20v ECU with a Bravo HGT. I know its a bugger, but could a few owners please, please check what the label on there ECU says and compare it to mine?

Can you do this ASAP as well. (y)

If you could post if they are compatible and a few details year etc, just in case some of the earlier 155's are and latter ones aren't. I need a new ECU/immob combo hence the question.

Thanks will be dished out for all who look. (y)

lol, you are right my friend.

i saw earlier but decided not to speak up.

what has been pointed out is the ABS ECU not the Engine ECU

EDIT: oh right i should probably also mention the ECU is located in the passenger footwell behind a plastic cover, 2x 10mm nuts to remove :)

only one i know of with it in the engine bay is the 1.2 and 1.6 i think :chin:

EDIT2: looking at the pic again it looks like the throttle body actually

ECU's are generally in the passenger cabin to keep them dry and save from the enviroment.

Cheers guys, in my rush while leaving earlier, my brain didnt quite engage.

Its the:
14-Idle speed control (ISC) actuator

1-Camshaft position (CMC) actuator
2-Camshaft position (CMP) actuator relay
3-Camshaft position (CMP) sensor
4-Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor
5-Data link connector (DLC)
6-Engine control module (ECM)
7-Engine control relay-under glovebox
8-Engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor
9-Engine speed (RPM) sensor
10-Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve
11-Fuel pump-in tank
12-Fuel pump relay-under glovebox
13-Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)
14-Idle speed control (ISC) actuator
15-Ignition coils
16-Inertia fuel shut-off (IFS) switch-under driver`s seat
17-Injectors
18-Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor
19-Knock sensors (KS)
20-Mass air flow (MAF) sensor
21-throttle position (TP) sensor
22-Vehicle speed sensor (VSS)

So i'll start another thread tomorrow when i get the right numbers, cars not at home.

Thanks to all who went out in the cold! (y)

Think the ecu's no 6 called the ECM? And yes i think thats a 147 diag.

So that numbers off the thing in the pass footwell behind the plate, which is the Main ECU in the 155's.

Nope it's off the thing in your pic but not your diagram.

So ECU is behind a plate in the footwell? Plastic one at end of kickplate?

on the 1998cc bravo the ecu is in the engine bay, number 190 on this diagram.

looking at the pic in post1 i think that is the ecu because it has the tell tale connectors on it.

mines a 147, this is the only reason i can assume it would be in the footwell as mine is.

have you checked behind the trim in the footwell? interesting to know if there is anything there on the 155.

does look as if Jug's diagram might be correct though.

I'm still sure the ECU will be in the cabin, the diagrams not the best, just ghost image of the car over the electrics if you know what I mean.
I think Bulldog is right about it being somewhere behind the glovebox on passenger side.
Aside from that pretty sure the ECU's are the same on the 155 Bravo and 155 Marea, it should be interchangeable and should run, maybe very slight differences in the mapping??
I used to run a highly modified Lancia Beta Spyder that was converted by me to run fuel injection from a later model and I used to run it on an ECU from a Lancia Gamma 2.5lt.
Beta's use an inline 4 engine mine was a 2lt, Gamma's use a boxer engine(opposed four) and are 2.5lt. I never had any problems at all with it.
