Having problems with the aircon on my wife's 1.8elx. The compressor won't turn, I've had this twice before on my Coupe and it's always been the compressor control relay, which on the coop is labelled 12V 20A A727 581 7676504. My question is, where the hell is it on the Marea? I've looked all over the place but I'm damned if I can find it. On the coop it's nice and easy to get at (one of the few things that are!!) on top of the washer bottle.

Any help greatly appreciated.

My 1.6LX has the aircon Reley in box of relays, located in front of battery. Find the smallest one relay.

Thanks Mike, that's where I thought it should be, but it isn't!! There are 3 larger size relays in there, two are grey and one is black. Unfortunately I didn't make a note of their numbers, however the large black on corresponded with a similar relay in the aircon box on the coop, but it isn't the compressor control one!! There is a blank relay space in there, but it would appear to be for the larger type. The aircon used to work, up to about a month or so ago, so I can't believe that the relay has simply vanished!! It's a mystery (and damned annoying when the temp goes up!!)
