Alright there People. Wondering if anyone has encountered an issue with their Marea / Bravo / Brava experiencing a high idle speed. Mine seems to sit at 1500 rpm at idle. Its a S plate Marea HLX. 44K on the clock and has been well looked after. Any ideas would be appreciated...

highly likely to be the Idle Control Valve as they are known to get stuck (mine did recently)

a diagnostics would be able to confirm this if you dont want to take the chance.

P.S try clearing it with some carb cleaner before replacing

It was fine this morning. So long as it gets through its MOT OK today I'll clean the idle control valve at the weekend, and then if it happens again I'll get a diagnostics run on it.
