The air con on my Marea ELX has just turned really smelly when I switch it on (like bad feet). Someone has suggested that the gas needs renewing? Any ideas?? How much would that cost?

1. Change the pollen Filter First Under the Scuttle Panel
2. If Still The same A AirCon Deorderiser may be needed, To Clean Out the bacteria.

On our Alfa, a air con service costs £75. It is climate control so maybe normal a/c is cheaper to do?

I have sprayed some anti-bacteria stuff on the evaporator and it seems to have cured it. Thanks for your help though.

Do Haynes do a manual for the Marea? I have seen some non Haynes ones on Ebay but they don't seem to cover the 20v 2.0 engine?

Haynes and Porter manuals both cover Marea's but not the 20v engine. They are still useful for most other items though. If you need anything for the engine then check out Coupe sites. There is also a Coupe manual on CD usually available on eBay.
