Dear Fiat linea owners does your fiat dealer follow the maintenance schedule or not
because here the dealer in Egypt doesn't follow the maintenance schedule at all!!! :bang: (n)

Well, if there's a lot of dust where you live, or the roads are bad, I can imagine that the service interval will be shorter, in fact, there are always TWO service intervals, one is for driving under ( very) good conditions, the other is for conditions that are worse.
I service my cars at 10.000 km intervals ( twice a year), although the conditions overhere are fine, I just think 20.000 km intervals are to long.

i know what you are talking about and also i do services every 10,000 km but what is driving me crazy is that Egypt is not worse than India for example and India changes the timing belt in 60,000 while Egypt in 40,000 only
and brake&power& coolant fluids in India every 60,000km while in Egypt every 20,000 :bang: (that I pay triple)
And the other thing that most of my driving are high ways my average speed always more than 50km/hour and my average distance per day is 140km/day i don't drive in rush hours nor in crowded streets.

Timing belt is 60.000 km or three years, whatever comes first.
Brake fluid is two years, and long life coolant 5 years, no matter how much km's or what country.
i know that but they insist that what i am saying is wrong can you give me ypur service schedule they may under stand what i am saying

So you're saying there are only 5 car workshops in Egypt....??
Hard to believe..!!
The Palio is not a difficult car to service, so any workshop with basic car knowledge can do the job, no problem!
So find an independent workshop/mechanic, and you'll be fine!

no only 4 :bang: 2 belongs to the dealer and 2 under it control but not owned by it.
and my car is a linea not a palio and it has got t-jet engine  all the independent workshop/mechanic can't do nothing with it.

I'm sorry, no Palio but a Linea instead...!!
Do you have the Diesel engine?
Anyway, it seems you only have two options:
Listen to your dealer, or buy another car...!!
no the petrol turbo engine and probably i will go to the dealer and raise my voice in the end!!! and will do what i want

Positive. After running 15,000 km from the second servicing, my FIAT Linea had her third servicing done today from Concorde Motors, Mysore Road, Bangalore, India [dealer and authorised service centre for FIAT cars]. They followed the service schedule specified in the owner's handbook to the letter and spirit.(y)
