i am a new driver and need to keep my insurnace as low as possible, but i hate the look of my exhaust. can any1 tell me what a stainless steel exhaust trim would be like? do they look rubbish?

Bib Punto 85 :D

depending on the trim! some can look crap. you get what you pay for, avoid anything chromed and cheap as the paint will flake off in a week!

take a look at this for me would you your thoughts would be appreciated

bear inn mind that the punto exhaust is at a funny angle and can easily make trims look crap. those ones only look good when they're sticking straight out under the bumper and the original skinny pipe can't be seen

i have just put one on mine which glows up with red leds and it looks great. it slopes down a bit but you just have to get the right angle. i will have pics up tomorrow.

i want to get a exhaust trim for my new panda will it void warranty though?

bit of an old thread?? lol but what the hell,- i very doubt it will void your warrany as it bolts on and bolts off, no damage or anything. if your that worried if you ever have any work needed under warrantie just unblolt it and stick it back on after

dont do what the gimpy owner of an old accord did i saw in kingsbury the other week....tack welded 2 tin cans on the back box, you could even see the ribs in the middle!!! even worse, if possible than the spinning hubcaps on steel wheels of a micra

don't get me wrong, although i'm not a big fan, i can appreciate the micra, certainly since i found that they were originally going to be the uno...till someone at fiat discovered they weren't quite all that, dug out the olg megagamma concept and blank sheet designed the uno we know now. then in a stroke of genius, sell what was left to nissan as they wanted a small car, look closely at the 2 mk1's there's def a bit of dna crossover....
