I came out to my car this morning to check if my bag was in it, then i noticed the parcelshelf was missing. Some lil git stuck a screwdriver behind both the passenger and drivers side door locks to open them and ragged out my parcel with my 6x9's on it. They also stole my Cd's and a personel cd player. Yer can't own anything in this world its f'in rediculous!
I got in my car and thought I don't want thi s car anymore coz someone else who I didnt know had entered it.
Just needed to rant at the annoyingness(Know it isnt a word) of this

If it's any help, I caught three thieving gits in the middle of trying to steal a car a while back. After a short chase and with the help of a dog unit they all got locked up. One had even absconded from a young offenders unit to teach the other two how to do it.

I agree with Donz it shouldn't matter that you have something on show -it's yours and was locked up safely (even if it wasn't you would hope people would be honest), don't see why we should have to be so ridiculously over-protective of everything because of theiving scum. So sorry for you, not fair at all .

During the day an alarm won't help much unless you can hear it yourself, but at night it will put most opportunist thieves off.
Actually having a flashing LED is enough to put a lot of thieves off. Have a look on e-bay though as it has some good deals on it.

Forgot to mention that the 3 guys who were caught confessed to about another 13 or 14 car thefts. They couldn't even remember the details of some of the cars they had done and had to be driven round to see if they could remember where they had been !!!. It shows you that it only takes a small number to create a lot of crime. By the way don't take it personally, they pick on anybody they can.

hi matt sorry to hear about that m8!, the best thing to do with 6x9s is get a mdf parcel shelf,cut the holes in for thr 6x9s and screw them to it underneath then get some black cloth(make sure its thin so speakers can breath) put it tight over the top then staple it underneath! then it just looks like a plain parcel shelf! good luck bud...andy

That really sucks. I had my Cinq SX broken into last year. f**kers smashed my passenger door window, nicked my CD player (yanked clean out), CD's (like my whole collection), phone charger and even the fooking coppers in my ashtray

Makes you feel sick. Scaredthe s**t outta me too because its so haunting knowing that some one was breaking your beloved just to please themselves. Car thieves should be beaten to death with a baseball bat. They don't own cars themselves. If they did they would know to respect other's. Little s**ts need burning alive

sorry to hear it mate i had an attempted break in on mine nd had the same feelings of "I dont want it anymore". But now Chastity (So called cos they didnt actually get in; chastity belt) has been changed so much since then, that she feels like mine again

My old car before the bravo got broken into too then completely f**ked the driver side door with a screw driver, ripped the head unit out (screwing up the dashboard), took the boot changer, all my cd's, the leads that wired the boot changer in!! (from under carpet!) - tried to get the 6x9's but they were securely in... then nabbed my rucksack to put it all in, at the same time taking my uni project... before... adding insult to injury, also running off with my new (unopened) copy of fhm (i always laugh at that bit).

The guy took just over 40 minutes to do it (there was a cctv opposite, so i watched later on), with a taxi driver sitting opposite waiting for someone else... git....

Lol, you see the guy finally finish, get out the car and walk off, then 10 minutes later, my dad goes past to work [xx(]

I still kept the car for about 2 months after, but had to climb in and out the passanger side due to the locks

Optomistic bit of me said - 'oh well, good excuse to get a new system... and it also pushed me to get the bravo'
