I recently went to german and swedish for spare parts for my merc.

while i was there ,i enquired if they sold fiat service parts such as oil filter,air filter,fuel filter,spark plugs,engine oil and to my surprise the salesman said yes.

Sso i bought an oil filter made my MANN filters of germany-OEM grade for £3.15plus vat!

So it is worth knowing you can buy italian car parts from german and swedish who mainly supply quality parts for german,swedish and french cars.

also found out that eurocarparts also sell service parts for fiats.

a lot of parts are common nowadays, only the air filters are more individual.

you can get fiat parts from most motorfactors.


and £3.15 is actually quite expensive, but still, MANN make better filters than fram I believe, something to do with cardboard and bits falling off inside?

you can buy almost all the servicable parts for every car at most motorfactors at less that half the price of dealers. i only go to the dealer for a "dealer only" part, and there arent many parts you will need that are dealer only. the only ones i usually need are automatic adjusters for the rear brakes, but almost everything can be bought at your local motorfactors.
