OMG! What in the world is in that thing?! How in the world can it outrun a Porsche?!

Are we sure it hasn't been heavily edited...(i can't see any sign of it!)

We should find the owner and find out just how!

My first signiture (a lot of thought put into it): If you can't find the switch to switch your fogs off I am sure I can help you! Damn fogs.

Going by the look & sound, I'd say that it's a 126 in bodywork alone - there's clearly a big and well-tuned V8 in there somewhere, and from the ride height it looms like there's a custom chassis too [8D]

Can't expect it handles any better than mushy custard and scares the driver to death if a corner comes up! Rather him than me! It like an old computer game car!

LOL, sorry custard boy, not intended at you...!

They're surprising under powered (or not _that_ quick rather).

My mate's modified Polo G40 pissed all over a Carrera 4 upto 120mph. Even a standard Type-R is only 2 car lengths max behind one.

A standard G40 has its top speed at 122 and I doubt (considering how much has already been done on a G40 engine) it would be much more with some modifications. A porsche in any guise is an extremely quick car and that can't be doubted and some of the best fun on four wheels (Or so I am told, won't be able to drive one of those for a long time yet!).

Looking on the net, a well driven Porsche 911 can be in the late 10's (with mods) or the mid 11's. Not that I know much about 1/4 "racing". That Fiat 126 weighs less than most cars on the road and has a large engine, hence what seems like a mad speed, which it is for a 126...lol! However, you try racing the two and the 126 would be a lap down after 2 IMO.

A porsche is a supercar, a G40 and type R are toys in comparison. It might not be the fatest thing on four wheels but it is still one of the best!

I have to disagree Steve, the POrsche 911 is and always will be a supercar. It may not have 200+ top speed but it has the racing pedigree and history to be called a supercar IMO. They aren't too common (although the 944 and boxter are)and if you see two in a day it's because people love that beautiful shape and rear engine'd performance.

£100k to me spells out exclusive too (althgouh I am sure they have a budget one for non-millionaires at £65k).

IMO the Porsche brand has been seriously devalued in recent years starting with the yuppy image they had in the 1980's. I guess the term supercar means different things to different people, but Porsche doesn't conjur up the image it once did. Cars like the Boxster are within the reach of a lot of people, and that to me isn't a supercar. The 911 is borderline, but just doesn't do it for most people like an Enzo, Murcielago or Keoningsegg or Carrera GT.

The Cayenne doesn't help Porsche either.

lol, the cayenne really doesn't. I did a investigation into the way the 944 ruined the image of Porsche and lowered the kudos in my a/s level business studies (did it as a spare a/s). Anyway, came to the conclusion that although it did well for the business in the short term it has taken years to bring themselves back up. If you think of parker pen, they did the same, brought out cheaper pens (<£10) and it ruined their kudos and meant that they are a tiny player in the luxury market. It is a pity Porsche have done this but the 911 is still one of the most beaufiful cars ever.

If my life works out the way I hope it will, I think I will own one (a 911 that is) because ever since I was 9 I have loved the shape and it just appeals so much to me.

haha, well I always knew my 5 A/S levels and such will come down to working in tesco's and forget Oxford, I should be trying to get a job at tesco's. Incidently, they rejected me without interview when I tried to get a job there.

It's still a super car IMO, many say the Renault Alpine was a supercar but you can get an example for less than £10k, it doesn't make it any slower!
It's a very quick car with sports car handling that can beat most things (except a 126) from 0-60 yet still look wicked and be pleasing to drive; it's my dream car.
