Need some help. My injector on my bravo has knackered and i have tried all local scrappies for a replacement but cant get hold of any :(

Could anyone who has some free time call their local scrappies see if they have any 4 point injectors for a 1.6 16v bravo/a 1998 if they have please and email me at work [email protected] please  cos can only get on here in my breaks :(

Just to say, Post 99 Bravo/Brava models have an different injector. Injector which seems to go alot on 1600 engine's is number 4 for some reason.

Didnt you notice this I posted last night www.247spares.co.uk:rolleyes:

The system shows we are currently dismantling quite a few Fiat Cromas. but in order to be absolutely sure we have the correct Cd Multi Changer for your Fiat Croma and to give you the cost of the part, you now need to complete the parts request form below, because we need additional information about your Fiat Croma , this is the only way we can be certain that the of the Cd Multi Changer we may have, will fit your Fiat Croma. Once you have completed the form below we are usually able to contact you within 15-20 minutes during normal working hours.

They're dismantling quite a few Fiat Cromas?

Me thinks that's a standard page no matter what you request.

i was about to say that

plus 247spares costs a fortune. basically they send an email/fax to hundreds of scrappies and anyone who has your bit can sell it to you, but to contact you they need to get your contact detials from 247spares, which costs them (and you) if you buy it. then there's the distance problem, you rarely get bits from a local place so postage is needed and for many car parts that isnt cheap.

but if you're rich and lazy then its a great idea. or if you're desperate for a certain bit thats eluding you its useful. i still prefer the yellow pages but thats because i'm persistent and tight.

just dont forget to haggle.

I've been in my local talking to the guys when they get phone calls/emails from these people searching for bits, and jack the price a lot!!!!!

i.e I got a set of four ELX door cards with the speakers and window switchs and a few other bits which i halfinched for £15.
he sold 1 door card for a basic spec mondeo mk1 for £35 to someone on that 247 thing!!!

makes him a fortune!! (£35 is basically new price).
