Radio code

Hi all,

HELP!

I bought a Punto earlier this year, and I now want to work on the Electrics but the dealer did not put the Radio Code, Key number and access Code on the invoice, or advise me of them. They have since ceased trading and the newly appointed dealer wants £25 + VAT to get the info.

Is there any way that I can get it other thatn thro' a dealer?

Decode costs a tenner.....however £25 is bit much

Try pulling the radio out slightly & sometimes the radio code is written on the top face.

I have the same problem. I have a Stilo, with navi, tel and cd radio in the same unit. I recently have done a reset on the unit, now it works, but on the display i have only a message "Master code request".
It says on the top of the unit a code of 5 digits, but it works only with an code of 4 digits.
What do i do? Can anybody help me?

I was quoted £30 for the service worcester fiat. if your vehicle is registered with the international security register 07000 111333 then you prove who you are and ownership then its free. I just did it and they were amazed that fiat had the cheek to charge at all.

why not use the free online code software?

all you need is the serial no. from the sticker on the stereo

If this is also a Visteon unit I might be able to help you - post your serial number (should begin with M......) - then I will give you the 4 digit code.

Can anyone alse help me please? I have a Magneti Marelli unit with navigation, telephone, and cd mp3 player radio. I've losted the code, and I don't know where to find info.
