Nige, what about those Unichip jobbies? They daisy chain on to current ECUs, surely you can program them?

Yep we can can do that please come to us!!! The unit will cost £400 plus and we will charge £60 per 30 minutes tuning time on the dyno. All in it will cost about £800 for 8bhp. Not interested - ah what a suprise!! Can you see why we dont do it now? I have been trying everywhere for an answer to this!

Ok, ok, I get your drift.

But it'd be really good to find a cheap answer, there's gotta be more power there! :(

Yeah and it's probably quicker than that Stilo! [)]

Nigle ,whats the best you can do for a tipo 20.16v and the new stilo abarth 2.4 20v for under a £1000 to increase power

Ive just bought a stilo xbox 1.6 16v and i think my old clio 1.2 was quicker :bang:
let me know when remapping or superchiping can be done to the slug

if that was a 16v 80bhp clio then there is a good chance it was, power to wight ratio comes in there.
As the 1.2 16v punto sporting is capable of the same 0 - 60 times as the stilo 1.6.
Another thing to keep in mind, stilo has been designed to feel relaxed so even if it was going quick, it could deceive you into thinking its going slower.
Ive also found its engine feels as if its made for the smooth delivery of power over pure nippyness.

I will get some piccies taken ASAP.
This is the latest ive had on the tuning side.

Hello,

Would you be able to take a picture of your engine ECU and send it to me; I can then tell you if we can offer a tuning solution for your car. The owners’ manual may also say which type of system is fitted: Bosch Me 7.3.4 etc.

If you need any help with locating the ECU please email (with some pictures of the engine bay) and I will guide you through it.

Regards,

Darrell Coutinho
