Hi all,

Anyone have a clue what is going on here??

as I have been contemplating getting my windows tinted, however, people have started being stopped for them!!

its been happening in north wales for the past 6 months or so, they are stopping cars with tints.
Your car front windows need to let in 75% off light in.
Your windscreen needs to let in 70% off light

As the law and definitions change daily then dont take my word for this.

I have had mates that have had to remove tints from there front windows because they where too dark. If you dont they will fine you or mite even take your car away.

Even factory fitted tints are breaking the law, the chrysler people carriers have optional front tints and they have been found to be breaking the law so, there is a recall on them (i think).

Its not worth getting tints until you have read the laws yourself and understand it. I know that I havent been able to understand them:p
